Orbit is a better place to store your CME certificates than your kitchen table because... less food stains, and less chance that your dog will eat your certificate. Here's how to upload your certificates into Orbit.
1. Go to the Earn tab.
2. Click "Post other CME".
3. Upload your certificate.
If you have lots of certificates that you already uploaded to your board (ABA portal, etc), they usually have a CME summary page that you can use as an aggregate certificate for Orbit instead of uploading individual certificates one by one.
Click the "Certificate" button to upload your certificate. Orbit will accept photos, screenshots, or PDF files of the certificate. If you have more photos you want to include for personal documentation, you can use the "Photo" button.
4. Select the specialty tag
After you upload the certificate, complete the rest of the survey, including the specialty tag. This tells Orbit exactly which requirement you've fulfilled with the certificate.
4. Hit "Post" to save your certificate
Once you hit Post, your certificate is stored in Orbit, and your certificate is applied towards the specialty tag you selected. If you're using an Orbit Compliance dashboard, your credits will update on the dashboard instantly.
