Oregon state CME Requirement

In Oregon, physicians are required to complete 60 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ every biennium. If a physician is licensed during the second year of the biennium, only 30 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ are required

Topic	Credits	Details
General	60 credits every biennium	Category 1 CME must be related to current practice. The following topics are relevant for all licensees regardless of practice:   Pain Management and Required Pain Management Course Cultural Competency Suicide Risk Assessment, Treatment, and Management Alzheimer's Disease
Pain management	1.5 credits every 2 years	Required course by the Oregon Pain Management Commission. Must be taken at initial licensure and every two years after.
Cultural competency	1 credit every year	Course may or may not be accredited.
