Alaska state CME Requirements

In Alaska, physicians are required to complete 25 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™  every year, for a total of 50 hours for the 2-year licensure cycle

Opioid education	2 credits every 2 years	Required for physicians who hold an Alabama Controlled Substance Certificate (ACSC) Topics may include: Controlled substance prescribing practices Recognizing signs of the abuse or misuse of controlled substances Controlled substance prescribing for chronic pain.
